| Guaiac wood is an ornamental tree with pretty rich
looking flowers and the trunk is greenish-brown in color. The Guaiacwood is
in fact a Palo Santo Wild Crafted type tree grown in Brazil instead of Ecuador. |
| Guaiacwood Oil stimulates sweating and is used in treatment
of & rheumatoid arthritischronic rheumatism. Guaiacwood resin stimulates the
digestive system and its high doses are purgative. It is also used for
treatment of sore throat and laryngitis. Guaiacwood essential oil, which is
commonly known as guaiacol, is used for treatment of respiratory ailments.
Externally, Guaiacwood essential oil is used for soothing toothaches and
rheumatoid arthritis. Also it is beneficial for treatment of fungal skin
diseases. Guaiac resin is a natural antioxidant with a high level of
phenolic compounds. The ingredients of guaiac resins contain effective
anti-inflammatory properties. |

This oil is Therapeutic Grade. Commercial Grade essential oils are usually made of the
left over plant materials after finishing the therapeutic distillation process.
The commercial
grade oils retain a robust fragrance suitable for soap making, candle making, as
well as cosmetic manufacturing. Unfortunately, because of the reduced active
therapeutic content, the commercial grade oils will not be suitable for aromatherapy or massage
therapy applications.

Bahamas and Florida. Guaiacwood oil has been used as a main ingredients in a in
a variety of essential blends for its rich therapeutic values. |
