Diffusing Lavender Oil

Insomnia

Put a few drops of Lavender on

your pillow next to your nose.

Enjoy lavender oil and its benefits by diffusing it into the air. Investing in a diffuser has many benefits, as the lavender oil is suspended in the air in your home and is absorbed through your nose directly to your brain and cells. It will help you relax and sleep deeply. Just fill your diffuser with purified water and add 3 to 5 drop of Lavender essential oil.

Foot Treatment

Rub Lavender oil on your feet for the calming effect. Within 20 minutes it will be present in every cell in your body! Lavender essential oil can be used directly on the skin. However, if you have super sensitive skin, you can mix 20 drops of Lavender oil with 20 drops of a carrier oil, such as Sweet Almond Oil or Jojoba Oil. Adjust the amount of the carrier oil to your sensitivity. The less carrier oil used, the more effective it will be.

Lavender Bath
A Lavender bath is enhanced with the beneficial properties of Lavender essential oil. It opens pores, encouraging the release of toxins through the skin. Circulation is increased, bringing nutrient-rich blood to all body systems and enhancing the natural internal cleansing process. Even the mind is able to calm down; thoughts that were once running through your mind simply drift away with the rising steam. Other natural additives such as sea salt, baking soda, milk, and honey can also be added to the therapeutic waters of a healing bath.
