Aromatherapy Properties: (Uses) The Melissa Essence is good for weak emotional states, and it relaxes the mind and body when it's stressed from nervous exhaustion. This Essential Oil is very uplifting, and increases the mental energy. It's balancing effects helps to relieve insomnia. Use 8 to 10 drops per 1oz. of Carrier Oil or unscented body care products for skin application. Melissa leaves generate an extremely low yield during distillation which makes it one of the most expensive essential oils. Melissa Essence is actually a blend of pure Melissa and Citronella essential oils, produced by distillation process.

Pure & Therapeutic Essential Oils :

This oil is Therapeutic Grade. Commercial Grade essential oils are usually made of the left over plant materials after finishing the therapeutic distillation process. The commercial grade oils retain a robust fragrance suitable for soap making, candle making, as well as cosmetic manufacturing. Unfortunately, because of the reduced active therapeutic content, the commercial grade oils will not be suitable for aromatherapy or massage therapy applications. Silky Scents Essential Oils are all Pure and Therapeutic Grade, not Commercial Grade.

Blends well with: Citrus oils and floral notes, Clary Sage, Geranium, Lavender 40/42, Lemongrass, as well as any other Lavenders.
