Carrier Oils for your Essential Oil Blends :

Botanical Name: Citrus Aurantium

Country of Origin: Egypt

Method of Extraction: Steam Distilled Fresh Flower

Consistency: Medium

Aromatic Description: A powerful, but delicate bitter-sweet floral fragrance. Neroli is citrusy, sweet, and exotic.

Perfumery Note: Middle

Aromatherapy Properties: (Uses) There are two types of orange tree, the sweet orange and the bitter orange. Oil from orange blossoms is known as Neroli oil and is extracted from the white blossoms of the bitter orange. Neroli essential oil is antidepressant, antiseptic, antispasmodic, deodorant, digestive, stimulant and sedative. Very relaxing, rather hypnotic, relieves chronic anxiety, depression and stress. Good in cases of insomnia, best used in the bath before bedtime. In spite of this, it is also joyous and uplifting. Due to its antispasmodic action Neroli is well known for its ability to relieve muscle spasm of the smooth muscles, especially that of the small intestines. It is extremely useful for chronic diarrhea, especially when this arises from nervous tension. This oil is suitable for all skin types since it does not irritate and is also useful for the treatment of broken capillaries under the skin's surface.

Pure & Therapeutic Essential Oils :

This oil is Therapeutic Grade. Commercial Grade essential oils are usually made of the left over plant materials after finishing the therapeutic distillation process. The commercial grade oils retain a robust fragrance suitable for soap making, candle making, as well as cosmetic manufacturing. Unfortunately, because of the reduced active therapeutic content, the commercial grade oils will not be suitable for aromatherapy or massage therapy applications. Silky Scents Essential Oils are all Pure and Therapeutic Grade, not Commercial Grade.
