Aromatherapy Properties:
(Uses) Corsica (organic). This
chemotype of Rosemary shows how populations of a single species can differ
in chemical composition. This CT is soft, warm, sweet, and most
skin-friendly. Its best known use is as a facial oil for extremely dry skin
(combine with carrot seed, lavender, 2% in hazelnut or fractionated coconut
oil). The Verbenone CT is even more effective at clearing catarrh than
Rosemary Officinalis. It is less stimulating generally and especially less
of a mental stimulant, so it can be used in the evening. |

It's also used to regulate the hypothalamic,
pituitary, and sexual glands (ovaries and testicles). |

Therapeutic Essential Oils : |
|
This oil is Therapeutic Grade. Commercial Grade essential oils are
usually made of the left over plant materials after finishing the therapeutic
distillation process.
The commercial
grade oils retain a robust fragrance suitable for soap making, candle making, as
well as cosmetic manufacturing. Unfortunately, because of the reduced active
therapeutic content, the commercial grade oils will not be suitable for
aromatherapy or massage therapy applications.
Silky Scents Essential Oils are all Pure and Therapeutic Grade, not
Commercial Grade. |

History:
Rosemary
is one of the most highly valued of all the essential oils and
has been considered a Holy Oil since ancient time and many folk songs attribute
deep mystery to its healing properties.
Remnants of Rosemary plant have been
discovered in Egyptian tombs. Its incense was traditionally used by the
Egyptians for purification and healing. Both Greeks and Romans are known to have
made wreaths of Rosemary to pay homage and give thanks to the gods. Rosemary has
been used traditionally as a universal healing herb and it was a chief
ingredient in medicines made by the alchemists and early scientists like
Paracelsus. Philosopher-healers of the Renaissance period regarded Rosemary
highly and praised its curative benefits in treating liver, heart, brain and eye
disorders. Through the ages Rosemary has been used to celebrate life and to
attract benevolent outcomes. |

Close all windows and doors to prevent the oil vapors from escaping. Fill the
bathtub with warm/hot water. To soften your skin and remove impurities, dissolve
1 cup bath salt in the warm water. In the meantime, mix the carrier oil of your
choice with the essential oils. Pour the essential oil/carrier oil mixture into
the warm bath water. Swirl the water to disperse the oil evenly. Enter the bath
immediately, since the essential oils will evaporate quickly. Relax and enjoy
the bath for at least 30 minutes.

General Safety Information: Do not take any oils
internally without consultation from a qualified aromatherapy practitioner.
Do not apply undiluted essential oils, absolutes, CO2s or other concentrated
essences onto the skin. If you are pregnant, epileptic, have liver damage,
have cancer, or have any other medical problem, use oils only under the
proper guidance of a qualified aromatherapy practitioner. Use extreme
caution when using oils with children and give children only the gentlest

aromatherapy practitioner before using oils with children. A skin patch test
should be conducted prior to using an oil that you've never used before.
